Late for the Sky
I arrived at about 7:00 when there was a line up of cars to get into the parking lot, 1/2 mile away. By the time I got to the parking lot, walked almost a mile, got through security, and got to our seats, it was 8:15. The show was scheduled to start at 7:30. I missed half of Jackson Browne’s set which I primarily came to see. The little I saw of Jackson Browne was great although Josh Weathers ruined “The Pretender” with his vocal. Anyway, I should have received some warning and advise to come early. I have been to Jones Beach before and never had this problem. I guess it has something to do with COVID. At least I made it for Jackson Browne’s hauntingly beautiful song “Late for the Sky.”
